24/7 AI · filing season 2027

Your cross-border tax life, handled.

Konsol is being built as the AI-powered financial brain of the cross-border householdone coordinated service replacing the cc thread between your US CPA and your local Treuhänder, not added on top. AI catches the PFIC trap, the §6 AStG timing, the FIG-regime question before April; embedded specialists sign where the law requires. One flat bill instead of two. Launching for the 2027 filing season.

Most people waitlist. A few bring us a hairy edge case and help shape what we ship first — PFIC on a Swiss broker, mid-year Wegzug, dual-filing RSUs, a 5471 you've been avoiding.

A family of four standing in a calm portrait, the ground beneath them bisected — a Swiss alpine peak, larches, lake and a chalet on the left; an American clapboard house, porch and mailbox on the right. They live on both sides at once.

AI-powered cross-border tax for families filing in more than one country.

What quietly goes wrong, every year.

When your wealth lives across borders, you become the message bus between advisors who don't talk. The cost is real money — but the bigger cost is your peace of mind.

The Zürich case

Swiss broker buys you three funds. Nobody mentions they're PFICs under US tax law.

$30,400extra US tax · indicative
The Lausanne case

You sell your Brooklyn condo four years after moving abroad. The §121 exclusion has quietly lapsed.

$98,000tax on sale · indicative
The Zug case

RSU vest. Your Seattle CPA files it. Your Zürich preparer files it too. Both do. Neither sees the other side.

$31,000double-taxed · indicative

Indicative figures based on the actual tax rules involved. Drawn from cross-border family scenarios we've seen — not specific Konsol customers.

Story 01 of 04

Konsol catches what your advisors miss.

The problem

Your advisors don't talk to each other.

The Swiss bank adds a fund. The US CPA never sees it. The mistake quietly compounds for five years until April brings the bill. By then, the math has gotten ugly.

One number, always now.

The problem

You never know where your tax position stands today.

Quarterly statements. April surprises. Nobody can answer "what do I owe right now" without three emails and a week of waiting. So you stop asking.

How Konsol will handle it

A live position across every country. Updated as life happens. With a record of what Konsol handled this week, who got paid, and what's coming next.

Story 03 of 04

Decisions in 30 seconds, not 2 months.

The problem

Cross-border decisions take forever.

Should we move to Italy for the kids' school? Sell the Brooklyn place? Take the London offer? Each question becomes two months of advisor back-and-forth, three opinions, and a delayed life.

How Konsol will handle it

The full cross-border picture in 30 seconds. Konsol ranks the options side by side and quantifies the tax delta on each. You pick the path.

A note only when it matters.

Konsol situation note
The problem

You don't know what slipped — until it's a penalty letter.

There's no way to know what got missed, what's coming, what's done. So you assume the worst and stay anxious. The dread of not knowing is half the cost.

How Konsol will handle it

A note from Konsol when there's news or a decision — never to fill a Monday inbox slot. Always with comfortable time to act: what Konsol caught, what changed in the rules, what's coming up that you'll want to decide on. Effortless. In control.

How Konsol will work.

One address. One conversation. The work running quietly underneath.

1

Setup is five minutes.

Tell us about your family, your jurisdictions, your accounts. Link your bank feeds. That's it — the rest is on us.

2

Everything else lives in one chat.

Voice notes. Photos. Quick questions. Konsol does the work and every action shows up as a receipt — auditable, exportable, yours forever.

3

Humans only when the law requires.

A notar for the Erbschein. A US trust attorney for cross-jurisdictional probate. Pre-briefed, flat-fee, calendar booked. The human is the exception.

Konsol is being built for families like these.

Complexity tracks your passport and your borders, not your net worth. A modest American abroad has a genuinely hard return; a wealthy single-country household does not. Sound like one of these? Get on the waitlist — or if your situation is genuinely hairy, bring the edge case to Philipp directly.

The American family in Switzerland

A US passport you can't give up. PFIC traps in your Swiss broker funds. FBAR, Form 8938 and FinCEN 114 every April. Maybe a streamlined filing question. Two CPAs who don't talk. A missed PFIC is mark-to-market plus the top rate on excess distributions — five figures on a single fund is normal. Konsol is being built to file the US side and coordinate the Swiss one.

The German founder in Zug

Post-exit, post-Wegzug. §6 AStG Wegzugsteuer on your GmbH-Anteile. The BMF letter says you can apply for Stundung to defer — but how, for how long, what about the DBA DE-CH allocation, what happens if you move again? Mis-timed: the full Wegzugsteuer falls due at exit instead of being stundbar — a six-figure cash gap on a real GmbH stake. Konsol is being built to watch the whole thread.

The London → Zurich household

The UK non-dom regime is gone — replaced by the FIG regime since April 2025. Statutory Residence Test for the move year. CGT on UK assets when you sell. IHT exposure post-abolition. Where is your domicile now? Where do your assets sit? Which treaties cover them? Wrong FIG window: lose the four-year foreign-income shelter and pay UK CGT on assets you'd never have brought home. Konsol is being built to hold the full picture.

The Microsoft / Google / Meta employee abroad

RSUs vest, ESPP discounts kick in, sell-to-cover triggers in CHF. Both countries claim the income. Without proper treaty allocation, both will tax it — and only one of them is right. Mis-sequenced FTC means the same income is taxed twice. Recoverable only on amend, often only partially — it's tax forfeited, not a deduction missed. Konsol is being built to apply the credit in time.

A few honest answers.

We're early. Here's what we can say plainly today.

When can I actually use Konsol?

Konsol's first cohort files through us for the 2026 tax year — spring 2027 returns. The waitlist gets one email when registration opens, with onboarding steps. If you'd rather not wait, we take a small number of design partners now: 15 min, bring last year's return, and your case feeds the build roadmap directly.

What will it cost?

We're targeting flat annual pricing, tiered by complexity — not billed per-form. The right anchor isn't commodity single-jurisdiction prep ($500–800/yr, US-side only); it's the CHF 3,000–12,000+ a cross-border household already spends across a US CPA plus a local Treuhänder who don't talk to each other. Indicative bands: Entry ~CHF 2–3k (clean dual filer — employment plus a couple of foreign accounts) · Core ~CHF 4–7k (investments, property, RSUs, real cross-border complexity) · Complex CHF 10k+ or retainer (multiple jurisdictions, business interests, pre-transfer events). Discrete events — relocation, property sale, estate event — priced as defined engagements. Real numbers go to design-partner conversations first, before any registration opens.

Is Konsol regulated?

Not yet, and we say so plainly. Remote Future AG is not currently authorised by FINMA, and Konsol is not a financial intermediary under FinSA or FinIA. We are evaluating the FinIA Art. 24 licence path. Anything that touches regulated advice will be operated under the appropriate licence.

Is Konsol on top of my US CPA and Treuhänder — or instead of them?

Instead of — that's the whole model. Konsol's flat tier replaces what you currently spend across your US CPA and your local Treuhänder, not added on top. The AI does the coordination, catching, and monitoring; the specialists who sign where the law requires (US EA/CPA, Swiss Treuhänder) are pre-briefed, flat-fee, and embedded in the Konsol price. One service, one bill — not two uncoordinated advisors and you in the middle. Non-tax counsel (estate lawyer, M&A, fund counsel) Konsol coordinates with but doesn't replace. During the design-partner phase we may run alongside your existing specialists while we build the embedded bench; by full launch (spring 2027), it's bundled.

What about my data?

Nothing happens to your data until you actively share it. Today the waitlist holds an email and (optionally) what kind of cross-border situation you're in — used only to prioritise what we ship first and to send you one launch note. Design-partner conversations are notes Philipp keeps to scope features; never sold, never used to train external models. Processed in Switzerland under FADP. Deletion on request to hello@konsol.ch. Full data-protection notice in the privacy section below.

I don't live in Switzerland — does this still apply?

Konsol is being built for any family with cross-border tax exposure. The Y1 entry point is American-passport holders living abroad, anywhere. Other corridors — UK non-doms, DACH Wegzug, Italian forfettario — follow as we earn the right to serve them.

A note from the founder

I'm building Konsol because the cross-border tax life is broken in a specific, expensive, and stupid way: smart families pay tens of thousands of francs a year and still wake up on Sunday wondering what slipped last week.

I know this from the inside. I'm a German who moved to Switzerland, running a business with global operations, with a spouse who holds US stock options. The dual filings, the RSU questions, the quiet dread before every tax season — I've lived all of it.

The technology to handle this exists now. The regulators allow it. The economics finally work for a household-level service instead of a per-advisor one. What's missing is someone who puts the pieces together at the household level — your level — instead of selling them to advisors.

Two ways in.

Most people take the waitlist for filing season 2027. A few bring last year's return for a 15-min preview of what Konsol would catch.

One email when registration opens for the 2026 tax year (spring 2027 returns). Konsol is being built for cross-border households — Americans abroad, DACH founders post-Wegzug, UK ex-non-doms, and others. No newsletter, no drip, no launch blast.

We'll walk through what Konsol's AI would catch (PFIC, §6 AStG timing, FIG, dual-treaty allocation), where the timing would change, and what filing through us in spring 2027 would look like for your case.
